String to Hex respects copyright and expects users and third parties to do the same. Copyright owners or their authorized representatives may request review and removal of material they believe infringes their rights.

Submitting a DMCA notice

• A physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list of works.
• Identification and exact URL of the material you want reviewed.
• Your name, email address, mailing address, and telephone number.
• A statement of your good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the copyright owner.

Review and removal

We may request clarification, forward the notice to the affected party, remove or restrict access to material, or decline requests that do not provide enough information. Knowingly making a material misrepresentation may result in liability.

Counter-notice

If material you provided was removed because of a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same email address.

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the removed material and its former location.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe removal resulted from mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address, and telephone number.
• A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate U.S. Federal District Court and accepting service from the original complainant.
